The Madonna of St. Augustineis a nonfiction account of the history of St. Augustine, Florida framed by three centuries-old Virgin Mary statues honored in the city. Each section focuses on the arrival of a different Madonna which signaled a change in the inhabitants’ lives, their response and their interaction with significant events.
The Madonnas unique perspective dating from 1565 to the present, chronicles St. Augustine’s faith journey in America’s growth in Christianity. Awarded Finalist in the International Book Awards for 2011, it was also granted the Seal of Approval from the Catholic Writers Guild.
